Install the DivX download:

First of all please download the following reccomended Divx codec - found here -

INSTALLATION PROCEEDURE:

You may need to unzip the file to install it if you need instructions for how to do that then click here -

Once you have unzipped the files - click the Install.exe program - Reply Yes - when you are asked if you want to install the Divx Codec and that's it!

Check your player:

ATo check your player simply download a really small divx file to your hard drive and double- click on it in your explorer type program. It will either automatically open an play in one or your programs or you should probably download a DivX player.

Make your own DivX:

This is our DIY section. One of the reasons we are so excited about DivX is that we want to see what you can get up to once you realise that This format gives you the opportunity to have your own Video reports, alternative news and underground content viewed.

There are two parts to the process.

One is to export your project from Premiere to your hard-drive an uncompressed Avi format at a reduced sceen size - for more info click here -

Part Two is to compress the Video and Audio of that Avi file using the Virtual Dub program - to view how click here
